Excited to finally have another photo job since the Hubbard Family Photo opp. Been busy with school and work. Wish I could do photo jobs everyday. Enjoy these pics from this great family out in Parkville, MO.
Last weekend I surprised Lauren during our trip to Colorado with an engagement ring! We haven't set a date yet, but are thinking summer/fall 2011. Here's my favorite pics of the weekend.
Day 2 of our trip. We went down the old route 66 highway to some of its old rundown parts. Found some cool old gas stations and hotels, an old train wreck. Then we made it up to Petrified Forest National Park and into the painted desert. The place was cool, but not nearly what we were expecting for tomorrow at the grand canyon.....but here's what I came up with for today.
My dad, my brother and I headed west to begin our journey to the Grand Canyon. I've spent 15 hours in the car today editing pictures and getting things up to date. These past 2 weeks have been soley devoted to my bathroom update process back home. Needless to say, but MEbberts Photo has been on hold.
With that said, I thought I'd share some pictures of my view of the trip from the backseat...enjoy!
I've spent all afternoon catching up on my wedding photo work by putting them into albums via iphoto. It makes scrapbooking/album making sooooo much easier (and it looks a lot better).
For $50 an album, its worth it to custom make it yourself or simply click 'auto-flow' and iphoto makes it for you. These albums are great also for major trips or milestones in your life. I love them, I've already made 3 for myself just within the last year. If you've got some time on your hands check it out.
Exciting news, the Country Club Plaza (now known as CCP) has totally renovated their website. It looks really cool, and guess who's pictures they used throughout the site????? Mine! Check it out at www.countryclubplaza.com
You can join the plaza's fan page on facebook too! Lots of cool stuff going on down there. I recommend volunteering for the art fair (they offer free beer, tshirts and food too!)
We headed out to downtown KC to meet the Hubbard Family with our dog, Penny in the back seat this morning. Penny started having symptoms of a seizure, so we had to take her to the emergency vet. :( We've never seen anything like it before...but thankfully she survived and a last we made it to our photo shoot just a tad bit behind schedule.
We spent the weekend at my parent's house in Lakewood with 4 of my family's 5 beagle/basset hounds. It was maddness but lots of fun! Here's some of my favorite pics of the doggies...
